Rev. Joanne Epply-Schmidt
Joanne Epply-Schmidt began her professional Storytelling career in 1999 working as a Performer and Teaching Artist with Storytelling Arts, Inc, most notably spending 10 years sharing her skills with incarcerated youth and young adults. She has told stories and taught the art of Storytelling in middle schools, high schools, schools of special education, theological seminaries, universities, churches, synagogues, nonprofit organizations, and educational retreat centers in the United States and Canada. Recently, Joanne was one of the featured alumna presenters at the She Roars Women of Princeton University Reunion. Joanne is an Episcopal Priest, currently serving as Associate Rector of Trinity Church in Princeton. A popular guest preacher, she has served in over 40 parishes NJ and PA. She serves as Capital Campaign Chair for the Bridge Academy of NJ, and Vice Chair of the Campus Ministry Foundation of the Diocese of New Jersey.
