Whether mentoring, stuffing envelopes, coordinating events, raising money, shopping at the food pantry or serving meals, volunteers enhance and enrich the services offered by the not-for-profit agencies in our community. What are the best strategies for recruiting, engaging and retaining volunteers for your organization? What skills does your nonprofit need and how can you find those volunteers? In this workshop, participants will learn the best strategies for recruiting, engaging, retaining and evaluating volunteers. In addition, we will discuss how best to integrate volunteers and staff members, so as to have a coordinated effort on behalf of the organization.
